Customer panel - Diversity
Before we ask you some questions, we would like to ask you to read the following text:
Cultural diversity
In their work, educational professionals share the organisation's standards and values in interactions with others and the physical environment. They are dealing with different cultural backgrounds of parents and children in the groups.
We believe that educational professionals need to have an understanding of the differences and deal with such differences with a feel for the person and the group. Being alive to cultural diversity in childcare is about creating a positive and safe climate. All children are given space, they are given the opportunity to have their say and to be themselves and join in.
This requires a combination of the right attitude, skills and knowledge. As a result, professionals promote and secure children's well-being, involvement and broad development.
